Powered by a turbocharged 252-horsepower 2.0-Liter four-cylinder powerplant, it will stand as the new base trim in this model's lineup. This same lineup receives recalibrated power-steering to greatly enhance the feel as well as the on-center response. New safety features such as a rearview camera and lane departure warning now become standard features. A few new shape tweaks grace a 2017 Porsche model further enhancing its already sleek design. Equipped with all-wheel drive plus an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, select models will offer a twin-turbo unit in the 3.0-liter V-6 engine or a twin-turbo 2.9-Liter V-6 pumping to the tune of 440-horsepower. A brand new V-8 mill will appear on the 2017 scene in the form of a heart-stopping 550-horsepower, twin-turbo 4.0-Liter. Some Porsche models roll out with a fully fresh redesign elevating the human spirit to new heights. Select models featuring a soft-top boast of open and close maneuvers in a mere nine seconds. Fourteen versions of the Porsche rear-engine classic will now be offered, ten of those powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-Liter flat-six producing either 370-horsepower or 420-horsepower depending on the model. Also new for 2017, select models receive bigger brakes for more stopping juice and new infotainment system, both of which are standard equipment.
